Married to Count Notfaroutoe, Arthur Winkings, she wasn’t converted to a vampire by her husband so instead she wears fake pointy teeth. She sees to it that Arthur doesn’t play the vampire game with the younger ladies.
They feel that they are expected to fit the stereotype of old vampires: evening dress and opera cloak all day, pale, black hair with widow peak, Überwaldean accent. She feels it’s a must, and makes Arthur follow it.
Doreen is now the treasurer of the Ankh-Morpork League of Temperance. Both are members of the Fresh Start Club.
