A small Townhall featuring a room for official wedding ceremonies and an office for a civil servant. In the old days probably all of the functions of a townhall used to be cramped in here. Nowadays it is just a nice location to get married at.

The Upwright family has regained the monopoly on o The Upwright family has regained the monopoly on operating the stagecoaches from Ankh-Morpork to other cities. The coaches stop at fixed points along the way, and for a small fee, at any other desired location. After the takeover and reconstruction of the Post Office by Moist von Lipwig, the service has returned to its former reliability. The carvers had to use quite a bit of immagination. The late king had had many fine attributes, but doing mighty deeds wasn't among them. The score was: Number of enemies ground as dust under his chariot wheels = 0. Number of thrones crushed beneath his sandalled feet = 0. Number of times world bestrode like colossus = 0. On the other hand: Reigns of terror = 0. Number of times own throne vrushed beneath enemy sandals = 0. Faces of poor ground = 0. Expensive crusades embarked upon = 0.
