The Patrician, Havelock Vetinari

Havelock Vetinari is the current Patrician of Ankh-Morpork. He has been the supreme ruler for some years and is the successor of Mad Lord Snapcase.
The Patrician is the ruler (read: "dictator for life") of Ankh-Morpork since the end of the monarchy.
He believed in the principle of "one man, one vote" (as in, "I am the Man, I have the Vote").

Somewhere in Ankh-Morpork, on a small square, stands this solitary, wild-growing tree. It quickly became a spot for residents and passersby to rest for a moment after a long workday or to escape the daily grind.
The tree itself escapes the axe thanks to the unceasing vigilance of the gargoyles around the square, who quite enjoy the fact that the pigeons flock to this spot — a fly-in buffet, so to speak.

Patina

Goddess of wisdom among the Discworld gods. She is supposed to carry an owl, but once upon a time a sculptor rather bad at the task made a sculpture of Patina carrying a penguin. Since belief shapes the god, and so many worshippers have seen the sculpture with the penguin, Patina now has to carry a penguin. Which is a shame, because the penguin is a very confused bird that thinks of itself as a fish.

A.E. Pessimal is one of the Patrician's inspectors sent to investigate the economics and management of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch to judge how the Watch uses their funds. Pessimal does not seem to have a first name or at least does not understand the question when Vimes asks him.

My father-in-law passed away last Thursday, and one thing we had in common was a love of books and reading. For example, we both had the entire series of blue Jules Verne covers (Blauwe Bandjes) from the 70-ies by Elsevier publishers.
A day later, while I was thinking about it, I realized that the GWP 40690 Tribute to Jules Verne's Books has a dark red cover. A quick Bricklink order later, I now have it in the correct colour and it stands on my bookshelf as a lasting memento.

Unfortunately, this year has been a quiet one for

Unfortunately, this year has been a quiet one for LEGO. Few new sets were released that were suitable for Brick-Morpork, and there’s been almost no work on the city’s MOCs either. The city wall hasn’t even been expanded at all, let alone plans for several city gates.

Compared to previous years, there has been a lot of work on the characters, although not everything is visible yet. A lot has been sorted out, but not everything is yet complete enough to actually build or show.

It's always a busy place, an inn like this on the stagecoach route. This postal inn between Ankh-Morpork and Lancre is no different.
In these stagecoach stations, everything is always going on, 24 hours a day, to provide the passengers with as much food and drink as possible, let them dispose of it again in the appropriate place, and then quickly move on.
It was built as an external extension to Brick-Morpork so that not everything takes place within the Citywalls. It's constructed in two sections for transport and equipped with lighting.

He was trained as an assassin in Ankh-Morpork where he was a member of Viper House and endeavors to be a little bit foreign wherever he goes, thus allowing him to perform his duties with less complication.
