Elucidated Brethren of the Ebon Night

One of the many secret brotherhoods in Ankh-Morpork, led by the Supreme Grand Master, later to be identified as Lupine Wonse, secretary to the Patrician. The Brethren summoned a dragon into Ankh-Morpork to overthrow the Patrician and restore the monarchy - they had picked their own monarch, of course.

They were made up of a circle of honest seekers after mystic truth whose misfortune it was to let Lupine Wonse run the group. A Supreme Grand Master with an agenda of his own is always going to be bad news in a secret society.

One of the brothers, Brother Fingers, stole a potent grimoire from the Library (indirectly the reason why the Librarian signed on as a Special) and so starting the events leading up to summoning the dragon.

The Illuminated and Ancient Brethren of Ee

The second house of similar design. The Brotherhood no longer meets in Treacle Street because the fretwork club now meets there every Thursday. It is confused by Brother Fingers with the actual secret headquarters of the Elucidated Brethren of the Ebon Night because the houses look very alike.

Ee is a long-lost city in the Klatchian desert.

Explorer's Club

One in the row of houses of similar design confusing Brother Fingers is the Explorer's Club. With its members trying to uncover the vast undiscovered, that is, not by the people already living there for centuries in societies having invented the wheel, a new governing system without parties and quantum mechanics to describe the state of the universe but the generally more described as civilized ones (although that is up for debate as well).
Basicly they are just trying to colour in the map with something more then 'Here be Dragons' or 'Don't eat the hairy bits'. One of the more notable members was Roderick Purdeigh.

The River Ankh also runs through my city, just like in Ankh-Morpork. Until now, however, mainly in straight pieces because it is easier to make them modular. That’s why I tried to pull it out of the right angles a bit.
The quay on this module has also been adapted even more than usual to visually break it up even further.

Cohen the Barbarian

Also known as Ghenghiz Cohen, Cohen the Barbarian is the last and greatest of the barbarian heroes. He is over 90 years old (or 87 in The Light Fantastic, in which he declares "If I wash twenty yearsh younger...I'd be shixty sheven"), which just goes to show how good Cohen is at not dying. Known to be leader of the Silver Horde, a small group of similarly elderly barbarian heroes. Like Cohen himself, the Silver Horde is very good at not dying in this line of work.

Pontoon Bridge

Another way to cross the River Ankh. Instead of putting in the effort to build a nice, neat bridge, just use what you have; a few old boats and some planks. And this is how you build a boat or pontoon bridge.

This gives just a little more variety in the arrangement of the river. Figuring out and trying out the turning and sliding mechanism took some time, but in the end it turned out sleak and simple.

His lawyer found the heir, the middle-aged Mr. Arthur Winkings, then wholesale fruit and vegetable merchant in Ankh-Morpork.

The, usually very incompetent, imp powering the extremely annoying personal organiser commonly known as the Dis-organiser. The only known dis-organiser Mark 1 was owned by Samuel Vimes, and was completely incompetent. It claimed to have 15 functions, although it appeared that at least ten were apologizing for the useless manner in which it performed the others.

The Golem Trust buys Golems from their owners, and the bought Golems then buy their freedom from the Trust at cost. The freed Golems then work to contribute money to the Trust to buy other owned Golems. Adora Belle Dearheart runs the Golem Trust office, located in a particularly run-down section of town about a quarter mile from the Ankh-Morpork Post Office.

Their motto: By Our Own Hand, Or None. This organization has so far freed a few dozen Golems, extracting them from all sorts of deep holes underground or walled-off rooms.

An Igor in his cellar, their natural #habitat. Igor is the common name of all male members of an extremely extended family in Überwald. Most Igors are professional servants to mad scientists or noble vampire families. Igors are also extremely good transplant surgeons.

First, and hopefully not the last, habitat for the stack at LowlugXL exhibition in Meijel (NLD), 27 August.

Een Igor in zijn kelder, hun natuurlijke habitat. Igor is de algemene naam van alle mannelijke leden van een zeer uitgebreide familie in Überwald. De meeste Igors zijn professionele dienaren van gekke wetenschappers of nobele vampierfamilies. Igors zijn ook buitengewoon goede transplantatiechirurgen.

not of pork but rather of anything that’s been near a pig.

Taking the trip to the second City Gate, Koornmarktpoort or Corn Market Gate. Construction started in the 14th century making it the oldest structure of the defences in Kampen.
